PARKING IN THE CENTER OF RIJEKA

If you have booked accommodation in Apartment or Room Terra Magica or Apartment Terra 5 Deluxe you do not have to worry about parking your vehicle as we have a private parking space waiting for you. If you have booked accommodation in Terra I & Terra II apartments in the city center, you need to take care of yourself, so we bring you short directions for parking downtown.

Parking in Rijeka is divided in four zones – zone 0, zone 0.A, zone 1 and zone 2. Zone 0 and 0.A are the closest to the city centre and thus the most expensive ones. One hour of parking in zone 0 will cost 7kn whereas one hour of parking in zone 0.A will cost you 10kn. Zone 1 and 2 are much cheaper and parking there costs 4kn (z1) and 3kn (z2). There are two options of paying a parking spot:

via m-Parking by sending an SMS
if you’re using a parking lot with a barrier, then you need to save the ticket until leaving the parking lot. Upon leaving, you will need to give the money for the ticket to the parking lot employee. In case you lose the ticket before leaving the parking lot, the fee is 15 EUR.

NOTE: Improperly parked vehicles will be taken to Brajdica car impound (+385 51 377 340). If your car gets impounded, you can pick it up at the car impound between 7 am and 9:15 pm (Mon-Fri) and between 7am and 2 pm. On Sunday the car impound is closed.

The best parking option for all guests of Apartments Terra I and Terra II is the Delta car park - take me there.

Parking is free on holidays and Saturdays from 14:00 to Monday at 7:00 and every day from 21:00 to 7:00 in the morning.

If you are staying in the city for more than one day, the best option is to buy a daily ticket for the Grobnička Riva Parking Lot. The price of the daily ticket is 6.4 EUR. You can buy it at the parking meter in the parking lot itself or at any newspaper kiosk. Parking Lot Grobnička Riva - take me there.

For guests staying longer than 4 days, the best and most affordable option is to buy a weekly ticket for the Delta Parking Lot. The price of the weekly ticket is 22.56 euros, and it is valid for seven days from the date of issue. The day of making the ticket is also included. The weekly ticket can only be issued at the ticket office of Rijeka plus d.o.o., Jelačićev trg 3. An identity card and the traffic license of the vehicle for which the weekly ticket is requested are required. When registering a weekly parking ticket, a magnetic card is created, the price of which is 2.65 euros.

TRANSFER FROM RIJEKA AIRPORT

BY BUS

There is organized bus shuttle service from / to Rijeka, Kraljevica, Omišalj and Crikvenica.

Bus departs from the station in front of the terminal building of Rijeka airport, the departure can be postponed in case of the flight delays, up to 60 minutes.

Tickets can be bought at the Rijeka Airport terminal building.

The bus to Rijeka Airport departs from Jelacic Square 3 bus station. Tickets can be bought in the bus.

The ride between the airport and the bus station lasts app 30 minutes and one way price is 10,00 EUR (and vice versa)

The Main Bus Station is located in the very centre of Rijeka, more precisely, on Jelacic Square 3 bus station. Next to the bus station there is a bus stop for the local, urban and suburban buses which will take you to any place in Rijeka or the surroundings. Our apartments are located just 100 meters from the Bus Station.

Tickets can be bought only on board if departing from Rijeka. If departing from Rijeka Airport, tickets can be bought at the desk for ticket sale at Rijeka Airport.

During winter months there's no regular shuttle service, but only service on demand from/to Rijeka (bus station: peron 5 at Jelačićev Trg 3). Behaviour of bus users is regulated by Ordinance of parking space usage at the Rijeka Airport.

TAXI

It is possible to book in advance a private transfer and thus make sure you will get at the desired address. Private transfers are good for those who carry a lot of luggage; a driver will wait for you at the airport in due time and take anywhere within Rijeka, its surroundings but also to any other destination.

Behaviour of taxi users is regulated by Ordinance of parking space usage at the Rijeka Airport. It is forbidden to do taxi business without a valid parking license of the Rijeka Airport. A list of legal taxi you can find here: LEGAL Taxi.

It is also possible to rent a car at the airport. You can choose between different rental companies; in the tourist season it is recommended to book a vehicle in advance.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN RIJEKA

Rijeka’s public transportation includes the city (1st zone) and suburban (2nd, 3rdand 4th zone) bus lines. Public transport operates from 5 am to 11.30 pm, approximately every 15 minutes.

Tickets
Bus tickets can be bought at kiosks and are valid for two fares. You validate the ticket by inserting it in the ticket machine when you get on the bus. A one-way ticket at a somewhat higher price can be bought from the bus driver on the bus. TOURIST BUS

Riding the TouRIst bus is an excellent opportunity for the best sightseeing tour of Rijeka and Opatija. The stories from the past as well as the present can be heard in 8 different languages: Croatian, Italian, German, English, French, Russian, Spanish and Hungarian.

Tickets

A ticket can be bought on the bus and is valid for 24 hours (HRK 50), 48 hours (HRK 80) or 72 hours (HRK 100). Children aged 7 – 15 pay HRK 35, 55 or 75, and children up to 7 years of age can use the TouRIst Bus for free.

The TouRist bus runs regularly from July 01 to August 31, and is available for rent in the remaining period.
